About Us

Imagine waking up one morning, unable to take a single step, and not knowing why. For millions of Indians, this is a harsh reality.

Right now, one in four adults is living with severe pain. And two out of every five have serious bone conditions they don’t even know about.

Without proper care, every step they take could be their last on their own two feet.

Take osteoporosis, for example—it’s the most common bone condition in women over 40 and men over 50. Every year, between 500 and 1,000 adults over 50 break a bone because of it.

If someone over 50 breaks their hip due to osteoporosis, there’s a 50% chance they won’t survive the next five years. Even if they do, they’ll likely have much less mobility than before.

Without proper care, every step they take could be their last on their own two feet. Now, imagine facing even more severe orthopedic conditions.

Silent Epidemic Worsened by Lack of Right Infrastructure

Aging, inactivity, and neglect have turned bone health into an epidemic that now affects over 300 million people who struggle in silence.

Unfortunately, India’s ground-level medical infrastructure is often unequipped to tackle these issues. Advanced medical care should not be a privilege for the few.

At Moonot, we are committed to bringing about transformative change. Our initiatives aim to ensure that every Indian has access to the advanced orthopedic care they deserve.

A Comprehensive Approach to Orthopedic Wellness

We established the Moonot Healthcare Foundation (MHF) to recognize the critical need for better bone health awareness and care.

Our mission is simple: make orthopedic care accessible to everyone, regardless of socio-economic background. We aim to:

Raise awareness about the importance of bone health

Provide high-quality orthopedic care and advanced surgical interventions for underserved communities

Create an ecosystem that makes orthopedic services easy to access

How We Make a Difference

Through our partnership with the Mumbai Knee Foot Ankle Clinic (MKFAC) and led by renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Pradeep Moonot, MHF has been driving real change. Our team of super-specialist orthopedic surgeons and healthcare professionals conducts wellness camps, bringing cutting-edge diagnostic tools and expert care to communities across India.

We don’t just assess and diagnose. We treat. Surgeries are performed locally at hospitals that meet our strict standards, offering patients high-quality care without the burden of long-distance travel.

Proven Impact: Transforming Lives Across India

In the last 15 months, we have organized 17 camps across five states—Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Over 10,000 patients have received specialized treatment for complex orthopedic issues, many of whom would have otherwise lacked access to such care.

Our screenings are conducted using the latest portable diagnostic machines, including the Fuji handheld digital x-ray machine, generously donated by TATA Trust. By bringing this advanced technology directly to patients, we ensure accurate diagnoses and better outcomes.

Looking Ahead: A Movement for Accessible Orthopedic Care

At MHF, everyone deserves access to quality orthopedic care. By continuing to expand our reach, increase awareness, and collaborate with local hospitals and global partners, we aim to transform the orthopedic healthcare landscape in India.

Join us in our mission to improve bone health and ensure better lives for all.
